Description

You will build and maintain complex insurance and underwriting applications using Delphi.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain complex insurance and underwriting applications.
• Resolve performance, memory leak, and scalability issues in existing systems.
• Design and contribute to the analysis of system applications.
• Manage product versions, documentation, and adhere to development standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of expert-level experience in Software Development using Delphi (versions 7 through XE10).
• In-depth experience with Delphi IDE (RAD), VCL, Console apps, DUnit, XML, and Web Services.
• Strong understanding of RDBMS, specifically Oracle and/or MS-SQL Server.
• Extensive knowledge of COM, ODBC, OOP concepts, and XML.
• Solid experience developing Client/Server applications, especially with IIS.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, BitBucket, or Mercurial.
• Experience working within Agile/Scaled Agile frameworks as a scrum team member.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise with DevExpress and Woll2Woll components.
• Strong technical and analytical communication skills.
