Description

Lead mechanical design tasks for structural components and complex assemblies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute 3D modeling, drafting, and assembly tasks using CAD software.
• Develop structural designs with a primary focus on sheet metal and casting components.
• Apply GD&T principles according to ISO 8015 standards.
• Incorporate welding specifications and symbols following BS EN 22553, EN 15085, and DIN EN ISO 5817.
• Ensure all designs comply with engineering standards including BS 8888:2020 and ISO 2768-Mk.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Solidworks CAD.
• Working knowledge of Creo CAD.
• Strong foundation in GD&T (ISO 8015).
• Expertise in 3D modeling, drafting, and assembly.
• Deep understanding of sheet metal design and casting processes.
• Knowledge of welding standards (BS EN 22553, EN 15085, DIN EN ISO 5817).
• Familiarity with DIN EN ISO 5817 and BS 8888:2020.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
