Description

You will manage truck design part lists and vehicle product structures for HCV layouts.

Responsibilities

  • Finalize truck design part lists and order routines based on specific customer requests.
  • Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO/SPEC) and update vehicle product structures in PDM systems.
  • Develop detailed part models and mounting drawings using Catia V5 for new packaging requirements.
  • Resolve PDM system errors by correcting specification codes during the ordering process.
  • Communicate technical data and project reports to cross-functional teams locally and abroad.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of 3D CAD experience in Off-Highway Vehicles, specifically trucks.
  • Strong working knowledge of Catia V5, 3D Experience, and ENOVIA V5 VPM.
  • Technical expertise in truck components including SCR tanks, fuel tanks, exhaust systems, and cabs.
  • Deep understanding of vehicle integration for LDT, MDT, and HDT trucks.
  • Proficiency in GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and engineering drawing standards.
  • Knowledge of FEA basics, including stress, strain, and weight optimization.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as casting, forming, plastic moulding, and metal stamping.
  • Experience managing projects from concept through to production.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and technical writing.
