Description

Lead the conception, design, and control of in-house and sub-contracted vehicle parts within defined project boundaries.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Generate and evaluate new concepts based on vehicle architecture and interface requirements.
• Prepare Statements of Requirement (SOR) for supplier and bought-out parts.
• Lead the convergence of delegated interfaces during project and design pilot meetings.
• Report on convergence progress and alert stakeholders to hard points.
• Direct the design team in technical constructions to ensure integration with peripheral systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in design engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD tools.
• Experience conducting DFMEAs.
• Ability to manage project objectives regarding planning, mass, cost, and quality.
• Any Graduate degree.
