Description

You will own the end-to-end development of behavior-based detection capabilities for the EPP platform.

Responsibilities

• Reverse malware samples and design prevention methods to detect new exploits.
• Develop internal research tools and proof of concepts to mitigate malicious techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new detection capabilities into the product.
• Research emerging threats within the Linux and container threat landscape.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security research or detection engineering.
• Expertise in reverse engineering x86/x64 binaries.
• Proficiency in static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Deep understanding of Linux internals, including processes, threads, and virtual memory.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Knowledge of the Linux and container threat landscape and MITRE IaaS frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Lua.
• Knowledge of cloud workloads including EKS, ECS, and Fargate.
• Understanding of existing antivirus internals.
