Description

Ensure mobile application stability and performance through Site Reliability Engineering practices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Optimize mobile app performance to reduce latency and improve load times.
• Design strategies for fault tolerance and graceful recovery.
• Implement monitoring using New Relic and Telemetry to track health and set proactive alerts.
• Respond to and resolve incidents involving mobile app crashes or performance degradation.
• Manage the release process, including deployment and rollback procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proven experience in Android and iOS development.
• Experience implementing monitoring tools like New Relic or Telemetry.
• Ability to automate systems to balance feature speed with service-level objectives.
• Knowledge of mobile app architecture, codebase, and infrastructure optimization.
• Experience managing mobile application security, data storage, and communication protocols.
• Capability to maintain technical documentation for configurations and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated rollback procedures in CI/CD pipelines.
