Description

You will design and build data solutions on Azure Databricks, owning the full development lifecycle from requirement analysis to release.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using PySpark and SQL within Azure Databricks.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence to application development best practices.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to review requirements, estimate work effort, and provide technical solutions.
• Manage offshore team workflows and perform rigorous code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Python, and SparkSQL.
• Strong hands-on coding proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (JIRA) and software development documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with offshore teams and client stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of Azure Data Factory (ADF) platform and framework.
• Experience working with XML and JSON file formats.
