Description

Build and maintain high-traffic backend services and RESTful APIs in Bangalore.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain REST APIs, queue-based asynchronous applications, and Spark data read applications.
• Build new features and update existing functionality following Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code using design patterns and a unit-test driven approach.
• Troubleshoot pre- and post-production implementations to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate with software design teams and business customers to communicate technical capabilities.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher).
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Spring Integration.
• Proven track record building Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Spark and distributed data processing.
• Experience with Kafka or other Pub-Sub queue technologies.
• Practical knowledge of NoSQL databases (Cassandra or Astra).
• Experience with caching technologies like Hazelcast.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Computer Science fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of logging tools including Splunk and ELK.
• Experience with Continuous Deployment using Jenkins.
