Description

You will design and develop serverless applications on AWS, primarily using Java and TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and event-driven services like S3, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, and DynamoDB.
• Write clean, maintainable Java and TypeScript code, utilizing advanced TypeScript features such as generics, strict mode, and utility types.
• Configure Lambda triggers, retries, dead-letter queues, and IAM roles following least-privilege principles.
• Optimize function performance, reduce cold starts, and manage memory usage for cost efficiency.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools like AWS CDK, SAM, or Serverless Framework.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Java and AWS Lambda development.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js runtime, including event loop and async/await patterns.
• Strong understanding of serverless architecture, distributed systems, and database design.
• Experience with AWS services: API Gateway, S3, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline implementation and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, Cognito).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Solutions Architect certification.
