Description

Own full-stack development, data migration validation, and requirements documentation for legacy system modernization on Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refactor ASP.NET MVC components using Entity Framework and Azure App Service.
• Elicit business requirements, translate them into user stories, and maintain the Azure DevOps product backlog.
• Create data mapping documents and validate legacy-to-modern data migrations using automated scripts.
• Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git Repositories.
• Execute integration and user acceptance testing, logging defects and managing test cases in Azure DevOps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework.
• Strong proficiency in Azure platform services, including Azure SQL, App Service, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and writing automated data validation scripts.
• Proven ability to document current and future state workflows and interface mappings.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio for process mapping and Excel for data analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy system modernization or public-sector transformation projects.
• Knowledge of security, access control, and user role management in enterprise applications.
