Description

You will own the remediation of critical accessibility issues across public-facing websites, applications, and digital platforms to ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Remediate front-end code, markup, and CSS to fix violations in color contrast, alt text, heading structure, keyboard navigation, and link roles.
• Modify and restructure HTML, CSS, and ARIA within CMS platforms including Sitecore, Salesforce, and WordPress.
• Partner with accessibility testers and analysts to translate audit findings into technical code corrections.
• Work within agile sprints to resolve prioritized accessibility tickets tracked in JIRA.
• Provide technical guidance to content and design teams regarding document, form, and media remediation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional web development experience.
• Expertise in HTML and CSS remediation.
• Deep knowledge of ARIA roles and implementation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience meeting WCAG 2.1 AA compliance standards.
• Experience troubleshooting content structure issues within CMS platforms.
• Ability to work across enterprise databases and custom web applications.
• Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and ticket management.
