Description

You will design, build, and automate data pipelines on GCP, handling healthcare data conversions and production monitoring.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate ETL/ELT pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Perform data conversions between standards like HL7, CCDA, and FHIR.
• Tune, debug, and monitor production data pipelines for stability and performance.
• Work with FHIR APIs, data stores, and RESTful operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Practical experience with GCP services: Cloud Composer (Airflow/DAGs), Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL/BigQuery.
• Proficiency in ETL processes and data pipeline automation.
• Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with healthcare data standards, specifically CCDA and FHIR.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to InterSystems IRIS for Health or similar healthcare integration tools.
• Understanding of healthcare terminologies such as LOINC, SNOMED, ICD, and RxNorm.
