Description

You will design and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Kotlin within an Azure environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and debug complex backend systems and microservices architectures.
• Implement secure APIs using Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, and API Management gateways.
• Manage cloud infrastructure components including Azure App Functions, WebJobs, and Log Analytics.
• Optimize database performance through SQL tuning and data modeling.
• Create technical documentation and engage directly with clients.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional IT experience with 3+ years focused on Java/J2EE and Kotlin.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring JPA, and Ktor.
• Experience building microservices and working with Messaging Queues (JMS).
• Hands-on experience with Azure services: App Insights, Azure Monitor, and API Management.
• Strong testing skills using JUnit, KoTest, TestNG, or mocking frameworks.
• Solid understanding of REST, SOAP, and Object-Oriented design concepts.
• Competency in Postgres DB and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience with Git and SAFe methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Frontend experience with React or Angular (version 9 or 11).
