Description

You will build and maintain API exposure services for external customers where the developer is the primary persona.

Responsibilities

• Write and review production-quality code in Java.
• Drive technical implementation across teams once alignment is reached with minimal guidance.
• Design and implement API exposure solutions following REST fundamentals.
• Develop and maintain SDKs to support developer integration.
• Implement security protocols including AuthN, AuthZ, and OpenID.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Deep understanding of REST fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with AuthN, AuthZ, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience building and exposing APIs to external customers.
• Proven ability to work with minimal granular guidance from tech leads.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API Gateways and API security fundamentals.
• Knowledge of OAS (OpenAPI Specification), including documentation and error coding.
• Experience with Python, GraphQL, or working in the telecom industry.
