Description

Lead technical implementations and customizations within the RightAngle platform to support the full trade lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop RightAngle customizations including business rules, custom reports, contract confirmations, invoices, and batch jobs.
• Design and implement low-level module designs using object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Collaborate with client developers to build, test, and deploy integrated module components.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical estimates for functional areas.
• Manage module-level scope and proactively escalate technical risks or issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with 2-4 live RightAngle projects and RA customizations.
• Deep understanding of the RightAngle data model, including key tables and columns.
• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.
• Expertise in implementing complex system architectures within RightAngle.
• Practical knowledge of ETRM/CTRM domain and at least one asset class (crude, refined products, Power, Natural Gas, or LNG).
• Ability to configure systems to support front, mid, and back-office processes.
• Experience with complex SQL development involving multiple tables, self-joins, subqueries, and grouping functions.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud concepts.
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
