Description

Design and develop NLU chatbot applications using AWS Lex and Amazon Bedrock. You will own the full lifecycle from conversational flow design to automated cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design conversational flows, including intent creation, slot types, and error handling logic.
• Implement NLP capabilities using Lambda functions for dynamic backend logic and responses.
• Integrate various LLMs via APIs, optimizing for efficiency and cost using customized completion prompts.
• Build complete, automated solutions using AWS services including API Gateway, S3, and CloudFormation.
• Develop, test, and refactor clean Python code while managing containerized deployments with Docker.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries like LangChain and collections.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lex and Amazon Bedrock.
• Experience with AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
• Ability to develop services using SOA and interact with external APIs (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE).
• Proficiency in managing JSON requests/responses and authentication methods like OAuth or API keys.
• Experience with SQL for data extraction and database management.
• Competency in environment isolation using venv or virtualenv.
• Skill in creating Docker images for cloud deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing monitoring and performance tracking via Amazon CloudWatch.
