Description

You will build and maintain high-performance, consumer-facing Android applications in Bengaluru.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement app architectures and design complex user interfaces.
• Design, code, and unit test new features while debugging and resolving defects.
• Optimize app performance using Android Profiler to diagnose memory leaks and crashes.
• Integrate third-party frameworks using Android Gradle.
• Monitor app usage and stability using Google Firebase and Crashlytics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• Minimum 1 year of experience developing in Kotlin.
• Proficiency in Java and core Android concepts including Activity, Fragments, lifecycle, and UI.
• Deep understanding of networking, caching, multi-threading, and asynchronous concepts.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, data structures, and design patterns (Observer, Factory, Adapter, Singleton).
• Experience with architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or VIPER.
• Experience using Retrofit, Volley, or Reactive frameworks like RxJava.
• Proven track record of publishing at least 3 Android apps to the Play Store.
• Proficiency with Git, JIRA, and Jenkins.
