Description

You will design and build scalable, low-latency microservices using modern cloud-native technologies. You will lead proof-of-concept efforts, automate containerized deployments, and optimize application performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop fast web applications and lead proof-of-concept and prototyping efforts.
• Design and implement application and infrastructure performance models for highly available microservices.
• Automate deployment and management of containerized applications using CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor application performance, optimize bottlenecks, and support production troubleshooting and on-call rotations.
• Mentor team members and contribute to hiring and onboarding processes.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in design and test-driven development of Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with hyperscalers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to write optimized SQL queries for relational databases (RDBMS).
• Knowledge of distributed event streaming platforms like Kafka, including producer/consumer programming.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with 6 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leveraging SAP Cloud Platform, BTP, and SAP HANA.
