Description

You will own Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog implementations, providing expert-level administration and Python/PySpark development. You will troubleshoot complex issues, manage stakeholder communications, and deliver technical consultancy on best practices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog environments.
• Develop and maintain data solutions using Python and PySpark.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize performance.
• Manage multiple communication threads with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Produce clear documentation and present technical concepts.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with Hive Metastore administration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability in stakeholder management and documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing technical consultancy and best practices guidance.
• Ability to manage parallel communication threads effectively.
