Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 4.x in a hybrid role based in Richardson, TX.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build microservices-based applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
• Design and support RESTful APIs and backend services with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for asynchronous integration and message processing.
• Develop containerized applications using Docker and deploy on Kubernetes platforms (GKE, RKE, RKE2).
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 4.x.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cloud-native patterns and microservices architecture.
• Experience with database technologies (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and query optimization.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including GKE, Cloud SQL, and Pub/Sub.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Helm Charts.
• Experience with observability tools like Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
