You will design and implement scalable microservices and REST-based APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain microservices using Java and Python.
• Develop and manage REST APIs and GraphQL interfaces.
• Deploy and orchestrate services using Docker and AWS.
• Monitor system health and performance using Splunk, New Relic, and PagerDuty.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Python development.
• Expertise with Spring, Spring Boot, and Gradle.
• Experience building REST-based APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with Docker and AWS (ECS, Lambda, Fargate, CloudWatch).
• Previous experience at Capital One is required.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work on-site in Richmond, VA.
