Description

Design and build integrations to connect and pull data from multiple systems including REST APIs, database servers, and flat files via SFTP.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain API, database, and file-based integrations with data from various sources.
• Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code and database schemas.
• Lead and contribute to peer code reviews, internal infrastructure, and process enhancements.
• Create end-to-end workflow diagrams and documentation for collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ingest and process both structured/relational and unstructured data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a statically typed language such as Go, Python, Java, C, C++, or C#.
• 2+ years of professional experience specifically with Golang.
• Strong experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and high fluency with SQL.
• Experience retrieving and importing data in formats including JSON, XML, CSV, and Excel.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Proficiency with source control software such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with little supervision.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, including executive leadership.
• Submission of GitHub or code samples is required.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Power BI or other Business Intelligence/reporting products.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of deploying software using Kubernetes and Docker.
