Senior Developer Workspace Engineer

You will design, build, and advocate for developer workspaces and tooling to achieve frictionless onboarding and day-2 support.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement developer workspaces using physical, virtualized, or browser-based solutions.
• Develop tools primarily in Python and Java to enhance developer workflows.
• Advocate for and implement CI/CD improvements through new tooling and available libraries.
• Create patterns for desktop provisioning and software package management using SCCM, VDI, or similar technologies.
• Lead initiatives to integrate Generative AI capabilities into Developer workflows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of proven experience in Development and end-user technology.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and Java development.
• Advanced expertise in desktop provisioning and software distribution.
• Advanced experience with SCCM, VDI, or similar technologies.
• Advanced ability to advocate for best practices and innovative solutions.
• Intermediate understanding of Generative AI concepts and applications.
• Intermediate experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into cloud solutions.
• Intermediate understanding of cloud and on-prem networking concepts.
• Familiarity with audit and risk management practices.
