Description

You will own the engineering, reliability, and operational excellence of critical production environments on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Jenkins.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Lead production incident management and recovery as the primary on-call responder.
• Define, monitor, and enforce Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Error Budgets.
• Lead cloud cost optimization and resource right-sizing initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of progressive experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• 3+ years managing high-availability, large-scale production environments.
• Advanced expertise in AWS Cloud architecture and services.
• Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Skilled in Python, Go, or Java programming for automation and tool development.
• Strong background in observability using Dynatrace or AppDynamics.
• Solid understanding of networking, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ITIL frameworks for incident management.
