Description

You will own the automation and management of Azure Kubernetes Service infrastructure for application hosting, data science, and AI workloads.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reusable infrastructure code and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Manage, optimize, and automate Kubernetes clusters for efficiency and scalability.
• Deploy and support Java and Python applications within containerized environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve system issues and conduct security and performance tests.
• Provide coverage during second shift hours (4 PM - 12 AM) and participate in on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience with Kubernetes hosting and Docker containerization.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub Actions.
• Experience with cloud platforms: Azure preferred, or AWS and GCP.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, or Grafana.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
