Description

Drive cluster builds for the platform team and manage Kubernetes clusters across bare metal and cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters on bare metal and Metal as a Service infrastructures.
• Develop automation scripts and pipelines for deployment and operations using Python, Go, and Bash.
• Design and implement networking solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Manage data storage solutions using Portworx and other data management tools.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Kubernetes, networking, and data management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including bare metal and Metal as a Service.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Portworx and data management tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Familiarity with Onprem, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Certifications in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or DevOps practices.
