Description

You will manage and automate cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for a remote role based in Chicago, IL.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts and provisioning templates using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Implement configuration management solutions to maintain consistency across environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate deployment pipelines and automate release processes.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost.
• Implement security best practices within infrastructure automation workflows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience specifically in infrastructure automation or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Working knowledge of AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
