Description

Lead the modernization of a legacy Windows COTS platform by migrating monolithic architectures toward a microservices model.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate legacy monolithic architectures to facilitate the transition to microservices.
• Break out rules engines and provide customized data structures for new services.
• Own the end-to-end development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Implement unit testing for all applications and code deployments.
• Support production applications using continuous delivery and DevOps principles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience delivering applications from architectural design to production implementation.
• Senior-level Python coding and conceptual knowledge.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience deploying scalable, distributed systems or multi-node database paradigms using Docker and Kubernetes.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud software design, containerized microservices, and distributed caching using Spring Boot and AWS.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Windows COTS products and applications.
• Proven ability to build, test, and deploy full-stack systems.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Perl.
• Application modernization experience specifically with COTS applications.
• Recent AWS experience using EMR, Lambda, EC2, Kinesis, S3, ElastiCache/Redis, or FSx.
