Description

Lead product migrations between public cloud provider accounts and manage the transition of legacy infrastructure to modern runtimes. Plan and execute application migration activities, including upgrading NodeJS microservices for AWS Lambda runtimes. Migrate legacy CloudFormation templates to Python using CDK. Develop automated scripts to test application operability and database migration accuracy. Coordinate with developers and R&D leadership to minimize migration impact. Work within a 24-hour delivery cycle by performing handoffs with engineers in India. Identify and document improvement opportunities and technical documentation for deployed digital products.

Responsibilities

• Lead product migrations between public cloud provider accounts and manage legacy infrastructure transitions.
• Upgrade NodeJS microservices for AWS Lambda runtimes and migrate CloudFormation templates to Python CDK.
• Develop automated scripts to test application operability and database migration accuracy.
• Coordinate with developers and R&D leadership to minimize migration impact.
• Identify and document improvement opportunities and technical documentation for deployed digital products.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience hosting applications on public cloud providers.
• Experience working with OAuth 2.0, mTLS, and regulated products.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with IoT Devices and IoT Management in a public cloud provider.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Change Control, and Configuration Management.
• Demonstrated understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methodology.
• Strong application debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
