Description

You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Architect and sustain Istio service mesh within EKS clusters.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure and application deployments.
• Implement monitoring, telemetry, and alerting using FluentBit, CloudWatch, and Dynatrace.
• Package resources and configurations using Helm charts for EKS deployments.
• Collaborate with software engineers to optimize application performance and reliability.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience managing AWS services including EC2, EKS, ECR, S3, Cognito, and NLB.
• 8 years of experience building pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• 8 years of experience with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and SSL/TLS.
• 8 years of experience with configuration management and orchestration tools.
• 6 years of experience working with Docker containers and microservices frameworks.
• 6 years of experience using Helm charts.
• 6 years of experience with TypeScript and scripting.
• 6 years of experience implementing security best practices in AWS.
• 4 years of hands-on AWS CDK development using TypeScript.
• 4 years of experience designing and maintaining Istio service mesh.
• 4 years of experience applying AWS Well-Architected Frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience in the public sector or on large-scale projects.
