Description

You will manage and scale cloud infrastructure across AWS and Google Cloud Platform for a global connectivity company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deployment tools for AWS and GCP cloud components.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and workflows in collaboration with application developers.
• Define cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code to support microservices workloads.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, reporting, and alerting using Python scripts.
• Manage AWS and GCP resources and costs to maintain scalable, high-availability systems.

Required Skills

• 7-9 years of DevOps experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on engineering with Google Cloud Platform services including GCE, GSC, KSM, VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, GKE, Stackdriver, IAM, DNS, and firewalls.
• 5+ years of experience with container orchestration including AWS ECS, EKS, GKE, and Kubernetes.
• 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Ansible and Terraform.
• 10 years of experience with version control systems such as Git and Subversion.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Bamboo and Jenkins.
• 7 years of experience working within Agile methodology environments.
• 7 years of experience with server software including MySQL, Apache, and Nginx.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Current Google or AWS professional certifications.
