Description

Design, implement, and support large-scale web farm infrastructure across multiple data centers to support IaaS offerings.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain web farm infrastructure with high availability, clustering, and geographic redundancy.
• Manage the continuous release promotion cycle across development, integration, staging, QA, and production environments.
• Automate system monitoring tasks and develop deployment scripts for build promotions and software releases.
• Troubleshoot and debug infrastructure problems in production and non-production environments.
• Provide technical guidance and 24/7 production support to engineering peers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting WebSphere Application Server installation, configuration, and management on Windows, Linux, or Unix.
• Hands-on experience deploying and configuring Java Web applications on WebSphere 6.1, 7.0, and 8.5.5.
• 3+ years of experience with ClearCase, SCM, or equivalent version control products.
• Proficiency in scripting with wsadmin, Jacl, Jython, Shell, PowerShell, or VB Script.
• Experience with virtualization technologies including Amazon AWS, OpenStack, VMware, Xen, or KVM.
• Strong background in networking, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL commands.
• Experience managing applications on IIS, SSL configuration, Apache Tomcat, and WebLogic.
• 4 years of experience working with Windows 2008-2016 in VMWare environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Flexpod environments.
