Description

You will manage cloud-based infrastructure and application lifecycles for Python-based systems, owning the performance, availability, and security of APIs, web servers, and application servers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Python-based APIs and application servers to ensure high availability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, including performance bottlenecks and server crashes.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs and web services into existing systems.
• Implement security measures to protect APIs and servers from unauthorized access.
• Manage Python environments, including installation, configuration, and version upgrades.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles.
• Proficiency with AWS, Cloud Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and architecture design.
• Expertise in Python, specifically environment maintenance and version management.
• Experience managing APIs and web server administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of storage management for unstructured data (on-prem NAS, FSX, Snap-Mirror, or S3).
