Must be able to read logs, separate application issues from platform issues, and guide teams to resolution.

Teachable / Learn During Onboarding:
pipeline templates, repository layout, branch conventions, ticket workflow, approvers, release controls, and application-specific deployment patterns.

Must-Have 2: Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

Hands-on Terraform and HCL experience, including repository changes, pull requests, variables, plans, state awareness, team configuration, and safe infrastructure updates through Azure DevOps.
Teachable / Learn During Onboarding:
infrastructure-live repositories, approved modules, team.hcl conventions, reviewers, naming standards, and environment-specific change procedures.

Must-Have 3: GCP administration and Cloud Run support
Practical experience supporting GCP environments, Cloud Run deployments, IAM, service accounts, configuration, logging, and deployment troubleshooting.

Teachable / Learn During Onboarding: GCP project structure, application ownership, internal access model, environment naming, and escalation contacts.

Must-Have 4: JFrog and dependency vulnerability controls
Understands how JFrog scanning affects builds and can investigate vulnerable or blocked packages, distinguish direct and transitive dependencies, work with application teams on remediation, and explain when the pipeline team cannot safely bypass a control.

Teachable / Learn During Onboarding: JFrog repositories, enforcement thresholds, deferral procedures, reporting expectations, and ownership paths.

Must-Have 5: SonarQube onboarding and support
Experience integrating SonarQube into CI pipelines, configuring project or service connections, managing tokens securely, interpreting quality-gate failures, and coordinating corrections with application teams.

Teachable / Learn During Onboarding: Vault process, ADO project and team configuration, token-request procedure, quality-gate thresholds, and onboarding contacts.

Must-Have 6: Pipeline agents and network troubleshooting
Can troubleshoot self-hosted agent constraints, browser or Selenium execution, outbound network restrictions, endpoint accessibility, proxy behavior, and the boundary between application, agent, and network ownership.

Teachable / Learn During Onboarding: agent pools, approved network exceptions, internal testing endpoints, network-support teams, ticket routing, and escalation procedure.

Must-Have 7: Production support and incident ownership
Experience handling pipeline and deployment blockers under time pressure, communicating findings clearly, identifying the correct owning team, tracking tickets, escalating when needed, and supporting applications through resolution.

Teachable / Learn During Onboarding: Severity definitions, overnight procedures, support queues, ticket-management standards, change process, and escalation contacts.

Must-Have 8: Technical problem solving

Can analyze logs and symptoms across application dependencies, pipelines, agents, network access, cloud configuration, IAM, and security controls without assuming the first reported cause is correct.

Teachable / Learn During Onboarding: Application history, known environment issues, internal dashboards, support boundaries, and recurring failure patterns
