Description

Lead the consolidation of container platforms and migration to a unified EKS/AKS infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build automation to consolidate container technologies and migrate microservices from ECS and Kubernetes to EKS/AKS.
• Automate the migration of a monolithic Ruby on Rails application to containerized infrastructure.
• Develop tools and applications using Terraform, YAML, JavaScript, Ruby, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Contribute to the architecture and delivery of the Cloud platform and evaluate new operational tools.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional technical experience.
• 4+ years of scripting or programming in Java, Python, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Experience building scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with container orchestration including Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, or AKS.
• Experience with cloud hosting in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Experience with AWS Controllers for Kubernetes or Crossplane.
• Experience deploying and operating immutable infrastructure.
• Strong foundation in Git branch strategies, OOP, Design Principles, and REST.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Unit and Integration Testing.
• Proven ability to onboard development teams to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
