Description

You will lead the migration of home-grown and COTS applications from on-premises environments to AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence and data collection to support application installation and configuration during AWS migrations.
• Design, develop, and roll out Ansible playbooks for COTS software deployment.
• Build and manage DevOps pipelines for application builds and deployments.
• Create detailed application runbooks and deployment strategies.
• Write build and deployment scripts using Shell and Python.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS DevOps services.
• Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience with Jenkins/Cloudbees and GitLab for CI/CD.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Jython, Shell, and Groovy.
• Familiarity with build tools including Ant and Maven.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
