Description

You will design, deploy, and manage containerized applications across Dev, QA, and Production environments on Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, and AKS.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Docker images, container registries, Helm charts, and Kubernetes objects including Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Ingress resources.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for AWS provisioning (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, EKS, ELB, Route 53, CloudWatch) and Azure services (AKS, ACR, Key Vault).
• Create and execute Ansible playbooks and roles for server provisioning, application deployments, OS patching, and environment automation via Ansible Tower/AWX.
• Build, support, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, ArgoCD, and Tekton.
• Monitor platform health using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack, Dynatrace, Datadog, and CloudWatch; perform RCA and support P1/P2 incident resolution.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, OpenShift 4.x, EKS, AKS, Docker, Helm, kubectl, and oc CLI.
• Extensive experience provisioning AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Azure platform services including AKS, ACR, Azure DevOps, and Key Vault.
• Strong experience developing and executing Ansible playbooks for provisioning and configuration management.
• Extensive CI/CD experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitOps tools.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with Kubernetes workloads (CrashLoopBackOff, OOMKilled, ImagePullBackOff, PVC mount failures, ingress issues).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack, Dynatrace, and Datadog.
• Experience supporting production platforms, incident management, runbook creation, and on-call support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and middleware (Apache Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly, WebLogic, IBM MQ).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams using JIRA, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
