Description

You will secure and automate AWS infrastructure while integrating security controls directly into the deployment lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure solutions within AWS environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines that automate application deployment and integrate security controls.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to manage AWS resources.
• Automate security processes including vulnerability scanning, patch management, and configuration management.
• Monitor and maintain logging solutions to detect and respond to security threats in real-time.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps or a related field, focusing on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Strong knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of security principles and implementing controls in AWS.
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex systems to resolve security issues.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Certified DevOps Engineer, or CISSP certifications.
