Description

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Digital Architect will:

  • Develop current-state and target-state architecture roadmaps across business, application, data, integration, security, and technology domains.
  • Define architecture principles, standards, patterns, guardrails, and reusable components.
  • Produce solution designs, integration models, architecture decision records, technical assessments, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility, operational readiness, security implications, sustainability, dependencies, and architectural trade-offs.
  • Support architecture governance and technical review processes.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership to development teams, application analysts, support teams, and vendors.
  • Review technical designs, integrations, code implementations, deployments, and solution configurations.
  • Support DevOps, cloud platforms, automation, CI/CD, environment management, and application modernization.
  • Mentor technical resources and promote architecture best practices.
  • Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Produce process models, user stories, impact assessments, requirements documentation, and solution options.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable technical requirements and delivery plans.
  • Provide architecture and technical oversight for applications within Application Management Services (AMS).
  • Participate in incident reviews, problem management, service reviews, change advisory processes, release planning, deployment governance, and production-readiness reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve application reliability and operational support.
  • Participate in Architecture Review Board reviews and other technical governance activities.
  • Evaluate project and vendor deliverables against architecture standards, security requirements, and approved patterns.
  • Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, design patterns, and technical policies.
  • Review vendor proposals, estimates, designs, and technical deliverables.
  • Provide architecture input into procurement activities and statements of work.
  • Support knowledge transfer, documentation review, and transition planning.
  • Define architecture approaches for analytics, data integration, reporting platforms, and AI-enabled services.
  • Support secure and compliant use of AI technologies.
  • Contribute to data governance, information architecture, and platform modernization.
  • Prepare architecture documents, diagrams, presentations, recommendations, standards, and executive briefings.
  • Present technical risks, options, recommendations, and trade-offs to project teams, vendors, governance committees, stakeholders, and senior leadership.

Mandatory Qualifications

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

  • College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • TOGAF Certification.
  • 8+ years of demonstrated experience leading cross-functional Agile product teams.
  • 5+ years of experience architecting, managing, and maintaining Azure Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
  • 8+ years of experience identifying and assessing requirements across multiple architecture domains.
  • 7+ years of experience documenting application architectures within an enterprise IT environment.
  • 7+ years of experience planning, designing, implementing, and supporting platform solutions.
  • 8+ years of experience providing technical leadership, planning, estimating, and presenting technical ideas and solutions.
  • Conflict of Interest attestation must be completed as required.

Nice-to-Have Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

  • Designing and optimizing enterprise technology solutions in collaboration with technical and business teams.
  • Developing or contributing to application architecture standards.
  • Working as an Application Architect designing or maintaining enterprise solutions.
  • Developing solutions using amCharts.
  • Developing mobile application solutions.
  • Applying OWASP Top Ten Web Application Security principles
