Lead fundraising strategy, donor relations, and impact communication to drive organizational growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet annual and long-term goals.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Plan and execute diverse fundraising events, managing logistics from budgeting to sponsorship outreach.
• Manage the development budget, including forecasting, performance tracking, and accounting coordination.
• Lead and mentor the development team and collaborate with the Board of Directors on strategic direction.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in nonprofit leadership with a focus on fundraising and development.
• Proven success in securing major gifts, grants, and corporate sponsorships.
• Experience designing and executing marketing, communications, and public relations activities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets and financial forecasting.
• Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with diverse, high-profile stakeholders.
• Strong strategic planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage outsourced relationships, including accounting and social media teams.
• Proficiency in creating digital and multimedia presentations for fundraising and marketing.

Preferred Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for mission advocacy.
