Description

Own the end-to-end monitoring strategy using Dynatrace, ensuring visibility across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize Dynatrace solutions for end-to-end visibility across Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and health checks to ensure system reliability and minimize false positives.
• Monitor application performance and transaction flows using synthetic and real user monitoring, troubleshooting issues at the application and system level.
• Participate in incident response efforts, providing monitoring insights for root cause analysis and closing monitoring gaps.
• Enhance monitoring standards and documentation, integrating tools with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, including VMware virtualized environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation using PowerShell or Bash.
• Basic networking understanding including DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing.
• Experience migrating from Dynatrace Managed to SaaS.
• Familiarity with enterprise log analysis frameworks and ITSM tools like Jira or ServiceNow.
• Ability to recommend baseline monitoring thresholds, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Experience with Kubernetes or container monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services.
