You will own the EDI transaction lifecycle and support the migration of IDOH’s ACAPS system to .NET.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review and update documentation for claims processing and EDI transactions.
• Identify gaps in existing processes and document them for the development team.
• Act as a subject matter expert during the ACAPS system rewrite in .NET.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual designs and business requirements.
• Test systems and resolve EDI data transmission conflicts with external trading partners.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in EDI transaction processing.
• Proficiency in .NET development and framework integration.
• Experience with claims processing workflows and healthcare standards.
• Ability to write technical specifications and conduct system testing.
• Strong understanding of federal and state healthcare policies.
• Experience providing helpdesk support for EDI claim transactions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

• Experience onboarding new healthcare providers and clearinghouses.
