Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-scale centralized logging and observability frameworks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage on-premise Elasticsearch clusters, including configuration, indexing, and query performance tuning.
• Design and configure ETL data pipelines using Elastic Common Schema to onboard application logs and metrics.
• Implement solutions for centralized logs, infrastructure health metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Configure index templates and data lifecycle management (ILM) for data retention.
• Develop dashboards, fine-tune bulk load processes, and write engineering runbooks and support procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Linux Systems, Elastic, and Application Support Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana).
• Strong Linux Systems Administration skills (RHEL/CentOS) and application troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming with Python, Ansible, and bash.
• Experience with data parsing using regex.
• Knowledge of Ansible and GIT for CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Experience managing REST APIs with JSON, YAML, and XML payloads.
• Working knowledge of Tomcat, MySQL, nginx, and haproxy.

Preferred Skills

• Elastic Certified Engineer certification.
