Description

You will own the design, implementation, and scaling of Elastic Stack solutions for logging and data management.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize Elastic clusters focusing on logging use cases and efficient data storage.
• Implement and manage Index Lifecycle Management (ILM) policies, snapshots, and searchable snapshots.
• Design and implement Hot-Warm-Cold architecture for scalable data management.
• Automate deployment and configuration management using Ansible and write shell scripts for routine tasks.
• Plan and execute Elastic Stack version upgrades and patching while minimizing downtime.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Elastic Stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats).
• Proficiency in architecting and sizing Elasticsearch clusters for performance and scalability.
• Strong knowledge of Unix Shell scripting.
• Experience automating deployment with Ansible.
• Expertise integrating Logstash, Kafka, and Beats for data ingestion.
• Solid understanding and experience with GIT for version control.
• Experience configuring Grafana dashboards for monitoring and alerting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across Elastic Stack components.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ruby.
• Experience with Python.
