Description

You will lead electrical design functions for Oil and Gas projects, owning detailed system design and documentation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings for lighting, small power, and earthing systems.
• Design HV/MV/LV single line diagrams, wiring, and control schematics.
• Prepare layouts for AC/DC distribution panels, process area equipment, and substations.
• Calculate cable schedules, tray sizing, and perform cable pulling calculations.
• Produce material take-offs and complete heat tracing system layouts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Design Lead in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling packages: AutoPlant, PDMS, PDS, Microstation, SmartPlant 3D, or SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL).
• Expertise in AutoCAD and general CAD drafting.
• Experience with detailed electrical system design, including grounding and lightning plans.
• Knowledge of cable selection and sizing calculations.
• Familiarity with lighting calculation software such as AGI32.
• Experience with Engineering Workshare.
