Description

You will own the detailed electrical design for construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete design documentation following KAEKO standards and AHJ code requirements to secure building permits.
• Design electrical distribution, power, and lighting systems, including emergency and standby generator systems.
• Calculate building loads per NEC and IECC guidelines.
• Coordinate project requirements with the Project Manager and Team Leadership.
• Perform pre-design site visits and as-building checks.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of electrical design experience in consulting engineering.
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong understanding of the construction process.
• Familiarity with NFPA National Electrical Code and International Building Codes.
• Experience with IECC, ComCheck, Bluebeam, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with distribution layouts, one-line diagrams, and lighting control systems.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• High attention to detail and field survey experience.
