Description

You will own the electrical engineering support for components, devices, systems, software, and test systems for commercial products, enhancements, and new development.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical components, selecting materials, parts, and semi-products for system design.
• Create electrical models and perform tolerance analyses to simulate design concepts.
• Execute electrical design activities, including circuit design/simulation, prototype evaluation, and unit/system testing.
• Manage and execute Engineering Change Orders within SAP for hardware, firmware, and embedded software.
• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing and field non-conformities using electrical test equipment.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the design and manufacturing of custom electrical assemblies.
• Strong electrical design skills with schematic and engineering analysis capabilities.
• Experience with Embedded Software and SAP.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing, serviceability, and reliability best practices.
• Experience collaborating with contract manufacturing suppliers for New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Ability to maintain thorough and accurate engineering documentation for regulated environments.
• Proficiency in performing lifecycle testing and system integration testing.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Medical device experience.
