Description

Lead electrical design readiness for biomedical products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain electrical schematics and PCB layouts for biomedical electronics.
• Own and execute design changes and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) on existing products.
• Support development of assembly, test, and screening processes for electrical components.
• Perform root cause investigations of electromechanical subsystems and document all analyses.
• Author build processes, assembly instructions, inspection procedures, and test protocols.

Required Skills

• Medical device industry experience is required.
• Proficiency in designing electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Experience managing ECO processes and design changes.
• Knowledge of BOM and DMR maintenance.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis on electromechanical subsystems.
• Experience authoring technical documentation, including test reports and system documentation.
• Familiarity with DFx principles (reliability, testability, manufacturability).
• Experience supporting Design History File (DHF) requirements.
