Description

Lead electrical design for multi-discipline new construction and retrofit projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design, including the development and audit of basis of design, construction specifications, and 3D design models.
• Perform electrical engineering system studies, such as short circuit, load flow, and arc flash studies.
• Conduct value engineering and technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment and installation proposals.
• Manage electrical design, procurement, and installation schedules to meet production targets.
• Review contractor field observation reports and conduct periodic field investigations.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in building-related design projects.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards including NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SKM, ETAP, or Easy Power.
• Experience performing electrical system study reports.
• Ability to present technical material to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in battery manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, or petrochemical plant design.
