Description

Lead electrical design for multi-discipline new construction and retrofit projects. Own the full design lifecycle from basis of design through construction specifications, drawings, 3D models, and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical engineering system studies, including short circuit, load flow, and arc flash analysis.
• Perform value engineering and technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment and installation proposals.
• Coordinate with project control teams to manage design, procurement, and installation schedules.
• Review field observation reports and conduct periodic field investigations to monitor contractor progress.
• Produce permit-ready electrical drawings and ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in buildings-related design projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for design and modeling.
• Experience with SKM, ETAP, or Easy Power for system studies.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards.
• Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and organize complex workflows.
• Strong technical communication skills for presenting findings to cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in battery manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, or petrochemical plant design.
